Human Trafficking. Human trafficking is a $32 billion business with up to 27 million people enslaved. 800,000 people are trafficked (bought & sold) across international borders each year; 50% of these victims are children; 4 of 5 are female. There are more slaves today then in any other time in history and the U.S. Department of State's Trafficking in Persons Report says that, "sex trafficking comprises a significant portion of overall trafficking and the majority of transnational modern-day slavery…Turning people into dehumanized commodities creates an enabling environment for human trafficking.”

Nope not quite yet, but I'm getting there. At the top of the website I update how much more money I have to raise, on the left I have who is donating towards my trip, and the thermomemeter tracks my progress. That's updated often, I just haven't added anymore blogs yet. :)
